■Yokoyama Yu and Aiba Masaki make a series of puns while enjoying Okinawa’s specialty Agu pork shabu-shabu
“Yokoyama Drive Club Part 2”, in which SUPER EIGHT’s Yokoyama Yu and Arashi’s Aiba Masaki travel from south to north in a rental car in summer Okinawa, will be broadcast on Nippon Television’s “Hirunandesu!” on August 15th.
In the first part, to fully enjoy Okinawa, the two enjoyed fluffy pancakes and pork and egg rice balls at a cafe with a spectacular view right in front of the sea. In addition, the two also experienced activities such as ziplining over the sea and parasailing 50 meters above the sea.
This second part is also packed with information about Okinawa in the summer. Of course, the car ride is a space reserved for friends who have known each other for over 20 years. Valuable stories that can only be heard here pop up.
The gourmets enjoyed Okinawa’s specialty, Agu pork shabu-shabu. The two of them were in high spirits the whole time as they savored the sweet and delicious Agu pork, making puns one after another! They took pictures of each other eating as a memento of their trip.
The two then drive to Kouri Island, crossing the spectacular Kouri Bridge that stretches in a straight line over the sea. They visit a hotel with a spectacular view of the Okinawan ocean. At the hotel, they enjoy both a private pool and a jetted bath in a room. This hotel is said to be good value for money despite its indulgent rooms, so how much does it cost per night?
Then, they went to a beach with a beautiful sunset. Yokoyama, who said that he was not impressed by a simple view, was deeply moved by the sunset that unfolded before his eyes. As they watched the sun sink into the sea, the two long-time friends talked passionately.
At the end of the trip, they will present a slideshow of the photos they have taken so far.
