BABYMONSTER will release the Japanese version of “BATTER UP” as a digital single, “BATTER UP -JP Ver.”, on August 16th.
BABYMONSTER recently performed the Japanese version of “BATTER UP” at the Tokyo and Kobe performances of their first Asian fan meeting tour “BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE”. Due to a flood of requests for the release of the song, they decided to release the Japanese version. This is the first time that BABYMONSTER has released a Japanese version of a song.
“BATTER UP” is a pre-debut song released in November 2023, and topped the iTunes song charts in 21 countries, as well as ranking 101st and 49th on the US Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (Billboard Global Excl.US) charts, respectively.
Additionally, it has well over 100 million streams on Spotify, and the music video has been viewed nearly 300 million times on YouTube.
