It has been revealed that 18-year-old Kanon, a third-year high school student belonging to BMSG, will be making his first film appearance and first leading role in director Kimura Satoshi’s latest work, “Yoyogi Johnny’s Melancholy Afterschool.”
Filming for the film is scheduled to finish in August and be released in spring 2025. Crowdfunding is also being solicited until midnight on August 30th. There are plenty of rewards, including tickets to the preview screening in January 2025 and autographed goods, so be sure to check out the website for details.

My name is Hiyori and I will be playing the lead role of Yoyogi Johnny.
From the moment I first read the script, I felt a strong sense of affinity with the character as there were many similarities to my own personality.
I’m a little overwhelmed by the amount of lines I have to say, but I hope to do my best and contribute to creating a good work.
I’ve also become close with my co-stars and we’re able to read the script in a fun atmosphere, so although I’m very nervous about filming, I’m looking forward to it!
I am grateful for being given the honorable opportunity to play my first leading role in my first production, and I will do my best to act in the role.
