FANTASTICS's Yusei Yagi's first solo cover and special feature in "ViVi" special edition! A thorough analysis of his "cool men" side

FANTASTICS’ Yagi Yusei will appear on the cover of the magazine ViVi magazine for the first time in a special feature in the October issue, which will be released on August 22nd.

FANTASTICS’ Yagi Yusei topped the NOW category of the September issue of “ViVi National Treasure Handsome Men Ranking for the First Half of 2024” for the second time, earning a splendid inductee into the magazine’s hall of fame. To commemorate his inductee into the hall of fame, the October issue of ViVi will feature his first solo cover and cover story. With the theme of “#HandsomeTwentyFaces”, we will thoroughly dissect 20 aspects of Yagi’s “coolness”.

About five years have passed since his first appearance in “ViVi”, and while he has appeared on the cover many times as a duo with actors such as actor Hagiwara Riku, JO1’s Shiraiwa Ruki, and FANTASTICS member Seguchi Reiya, this is surprisingly his first time on the cover of “ViVi” as a solo artist. In the cover story, we delve deeper into his charms, dividing them into 20 keywords such as “actor Yagi Yusei”, “LDH’s new icon”, “spoiled”, etc.

On the subject of “national treasure-level,” Yagi was asked about his favorite treasure. He replied, “The first thing that comes to mind is a photo of the nine of us taken on a bus during our FANTA dream training. I have it framed and hanging it at home.” He also showed his passionate side, cherishing his roots and friends.

During the shoot, in conjunction with the “#HandsomeTwentyFaces” interview, a wide variety of props were used to portray Yagi, such as munching on breakfast, playing with a soccer ball, and preparing a set covered in flowers.

Also, the cut used for the cover was hastily taken without underwear, with the thought, “Wouldn’t it be cooler to just put the vest on naked?”, and we were surprised at Yagi’s body that can take it off at any time without prior preparation. Moreover, there was a scene where Yagi’s professionalism was glimpsed as he secretly did push-ups during a makeup change in order to make the cut look even better.
