Snow Man’s Mukai Koji appointed as the character and photographer for Chifure Cosmetics’ skincare campaign

Snow Man’s Mukai Koji has been appointed as the character and photographer for Chifure Cosmetics’ “Chifure in Your Life, Photo by Mukai Koji” campaign, which will begin on August 21. On the same day, the first part of the campaign will be released, with a new web commercial titled “Admiring Your Life,” in which Mukai will make his first solo appearance. On the special website, there will be a project where you can win original Chifure “Chifure in Your Life” images taken by Mukai, as well as a social media hashtag campaign.

Mukai has a friendly personality and a face as a celebrity who cares for her fans, but she also has a face as a photographer. She was chosen because the “everyday life” and “lifestyle” that she usually captures with her camera are in line with the value that Chifure Cosmetics wants to provide to its customers.

In the future, plans include the launch of a participatory campaign called “Chifure in Your Life, Photo by Mukai Koji” and pop-up events.

About the new web commercial “Enjoying Life”
Starting August 21st, the first web commercial, “Enjoying Life” (available in two versions, a 30-second version and a 15-second version), will be available on the special website and the Chifure Group’s official YouTube channel.

Focusing on “what we love in our daily lives,” and with Chifure’s desire to gently support the lives of its customers, the ad depicts Mukai spending time in a cozy-looking room. The image of Mukai relaxing in bed and gazing at Chifure’s “Moisturizing Lotion – Extra Moist Type” is striking.

During the shoot, Mukai was full of enthusiasm and pressed the shutter enthusiastically, thinking about his fans, saying, “I wonder if my fans will be happy if their hands and my camera are in the picture?” and “My bed at home really looks like this. I’ll take photos that will make all my fans happy!”

■X launches “#KurashiNichiFure” hashtag campaign on Instagram
The #KurashiniChifure hashtag campaign will be held on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram from August 21 to September 4. Those who meet the application requirements will have their best submissions displayed at the POPUP event, and will also be entered into a lottery to win Chifure products.

The pop-up event will also feature an exhibition of Mukai’s photographs and behind-the-scenes shots.

■ Interview with Koji Mukai
Q. Please share your honest thoughts about being appointed as the campaign character and photographer.
Mukai:
Today I was shooting in a cool version, but deep down I’m really happy that it was decided. Chifure’s products are famous, and I’m really happy that they chose me, so I’d like to continue to convey their goodness in my own way.

Q. This time you also took product photos as a photographer. How was that?
Mukai:
It was a unique experience, so I was excited, but had a lot of fun taking the photos! I hope you all like the photos! Also, the products look great no matter where you put them. I put them in the kitchen, on the shelves, and they even look good on the bathroom sink. They’re simple, so they don’t look out of place no matter where you put them, and I think they’ll become a part of your life. They’re stylish and will fit into your lifestyle, so I recommend them!

Q. You recently turned 30. Has your approach to your skin changed since entering your 30s?
Mukai:
It has changed. I’ve been trying to be more careful since I was in my late 20s, but I think it’s a good idea to do so. This product is really good, it’s so moisturizing. I would recommend it to people who don’t have much time, or who are busy raising children or doing housework!

Q. I understand that you have been taking photographs since you were a child. What is the appeal and favorite thing about photography?
Mukai:
It’s the reaction of people saying “That’s so great!” when I show them the photos I took. You can take photos by clicking away, but I think each photo can change your life. Those kinds of photos are important. What’s more, I like how photos can instantly remind me of memories like “That was it at this time.” Also, my fans are happy with my photos, so that’s another fun part of being a photographer.

Q. Finally, please say a few words to Chifure users and fans.
Mukai:
I have had the opportunity to work with Chifure. It’s something I’m really happy about, so if you’re interested, why not try out some Chifure products?
