■The group also announced their first five-dome tour, “Snow Man Dome Tour 2024 RAYS”!
On August 21st, Snow Man announced the release of their fourth full album “RAYS” (pronounced: RAYS) and the group’s first five-dome tour, “Snow Man Dome Tour 2024 RAYS,” during a live broadcast on their official YouTube channel titled “Let’s spend a little summer day with Snow Man Live Broadcast.”
The new album “RAYS”, to be released on October 30th, is a record filled with the brilliance of RAYS, the nine “rays of light”, coming together to become a big light that shines even further, accelerating Snow Man towards the future.
The lead track “EMPIRE” is a stylish and edgy song that boldly samples the famous Mozart piece “Symphony No. 25 in G minor” that everyone has heard. With a sound that combines the grandeur of classical music with a modern dance beat, this song is a new frontier for Snow Man, with the members’ strong will. There was also a pleasant surprise in that the music video for “EMPIRE” was premiered on YouTube after the live broadcast.
This music video was shot overseas in the impressive and magnificent location of Barcelona, Spain, and expresses the feelings and determination to move towards a bright future. After many discussions between the members and staff, it took three full days to complete the video. The powerful dance performed by a total of 54 people, including the dancers, in the last chorus is a masterpiece.
In addition to the new song B, the singles “Dangerholic,” “LOVE TRIGGER,” and “We’ll go together,” the first pressings A and B will include a total of 13 songs, including the new song (planned). The regular pressing will include a total of 18 songs, including the new song (planned).
In addition, the first edition A will include the “EMPIRE” MV, as well as single MVs and making-of footage A, while the first edition B will include the new song B MV, making-of footage B, newly shot bonus footage, and more. Both versions will be compiled with a wealth of video content. Details of the recording contents of each version will be released soon.
The new artist visual and a part of the album jacket photo have also been released on the official website. This was also taken in Barcelona, Spain, and the visual jacket embodies the new charm of Snow Man, exuding a fashionable yet classical dignity.
The group also announced that they will hold their first five-dome tour, “Snow Man Dome Tour 2024 RAYS.” From November 9th to December 27th, they will perform a total of 13 shows in Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Osaka. Attention is focused on this first five-dome tour with their new album ahead of their fifth debut anniversary in 2025.
