■”Amagi Classic Time” is a hot topic on social media. In episode 7, Marasy arranges it for the drama and performs it on piano!
The classical music played during the operation scenes of the Sunday Drama “Black Pean Season 2,” starring the world-renowned genius surgeon Amagi Yukihiko, played by Ninomiya Kazunari, is becoming a hot topic on social media as “Amagi Classic Time.”
In the seventh episode, which will be broadcast on August 25th at 9pm, it has been decided that classical music arranged and performed by pianist Marasy will be used as the background music for the drama. In fact, Marasy’s “A Little Strong Heaven and Hell” from his album “A Little Strong Classic” was used in the fifth episode, when Amagi exposed the evil deeds that Kizaki (Megumi Toshiaki) had committed, further livening up the thrilling scene.
This collaboration came about when Ninomiya asked Marasy to “play a piano arrangement that matches the drama scene.” Marasy recorded the song to match the image.
In fact, Marasy participated on piano in Ninomiya’s solo song “Merry Christmas” which was included in Arashi’s original album “THE DIGITALIAN” (2014). Ninomiya, who had been paying attention to the piano performance videos that Marasy had uploaded to YouTube, requested that he play piano on his song.
Since then, the two have developed a strong friendship, and now they have collaborated together for the first time in 10 years, providing soundtracks for “Black Pean Season 2.”
In episode 7, attention will be focused not only on the main drama, but also on which classical pieces are arranged and the songs by Marasy that will be played during “Amagi Classic Time.”
