One-shot performance of TV anime “Mushoku Tensei II” opening theme “On the Frontline” at Hitrie “THE FIRST TAKE”

■“It’s a song that represents all of our destructive power, so I played it with the feeling of trying to convey that destructive power.” (Shinoda)

Hitrie will appear on the 433rd episode of “THE FIRST TAKE”, which will be released on May 8th at 10pm, and will perform his new single “On the Frontline”, which will be released on June 5th.

In the first episode released on April 26th, vocalist wowaka, who was also active as Vocaloid P, performed the Vocaloid song “Unknown Mother Goose” released in 2017, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his major debut. With Shinoda taking on the new role of vocalist, Hitrie performed a one-shot performance that looked like it was a live performance, and it attracted a lot of attention.

The song “On the Frontline” that will be performed this time is written by Shinoda (guitarist and vocalist) and composed by Yumao (drums).

It is currently being aired as the opening theme for the TV anime “Mushoku Tensei II ~I’ll be serious if I go to another world~”, and the band’s profound sound and lyrics about moving forward while facing loss are the current state of the band, which has carved out a long history. The song is synchronized with the journey of Rudeus, the main character of Mushoku Tensei.

■Hitorie Shinoda comment
The song “On the Frontline” is Boku Hitrie’s new song and the opening song for the TV anime “Mushoku Tensei II”, and it is a song that represents all of our destructive power, so let’s just convey that destructive power. That’s how I felt when I played.
