■LE SSERAFIM, 4th mini album 『CRAZY』MV teaser video will be released on August 28th and 29th

A highlight medley from LE SSERAFIM’s 4th mini album “CRAZY” has been released on the HYBE LABELS official YouTube channel and the group’s official SNS.

The five track samplers released earlier combined illustrations of the members with backgrounds that expressed the image of the songs, but this highlight medley features highlight audio from each song accompanied by a different concept film.

The first song, “Chasing Lightning,” has a strong techno-style beat that gives off a sense of speed. It is accompanied by a video that shows the members walking down the runway in eye-catching fashion and hairstyles, which is linked to the previously released concept photo “Compact” version.

The second song is the title track “CRAZY,” which features an exhilarating EDM sound. It’s a song that makes you look forward to seeing what kind of choreography will be combined with the sophisticated beat and addictive repeated phrases. The colorful video, which is connected to the concept photo “THUNDERING CEDAR,” which evokes the moment of being struck by lightning, expresses the worldview of the song, which “expresses the emotions of the moment you encounter something that makes you fall in love with yourself.”

The third song is “Pierrot,” which samples Kim Wan-sung’s song “The Clown Laughs at Us.” This song has a pop melody and a cute singing style, and is full of the cute and girly visual beauty shown in the fairy-like visual concept photo “ODD FAIRY FLOSS.”

The fourth song, “1-800-hot-n-fun,” which was performed at the fan meeting “LE SSERAFIM FAN MEETING ‘FEARNADA’ 2024 S/S” held in Korea and Japan from May to July 2024, is a rock-style song with a cool hip-hop sound. Pay attention to the expressions of the members who look at the camera with a sharp gaze that shines in the light.

The fifth song is the ballad “Crazier” with clear vocals that stick in your mind. This song expresses “the regret of the days when you wanted to love something passionately but couldn’t, and the growing pains you experienced in the process,” and links with the visuals for “HEATHERS ROCK.” The members walking through the city show expressions that are somewhat sad.

HUH YUNJIN participated in this song as the main producer, and it is clear that he is actively involved in the production of this album as well, as he has done in the past.

The video incorporates the worldview of the songs and the album message of “Let’s go crazy just once with LE SSERAFIM” into the sound that challenges various genres such as hip-hop, techno, and EDM-based tracks, which LE SSERAFIM is trying for the first time. The highlight medley that combines the two further increases expectations for the album.
