Umeda Cipher performs a special medley at “TFT”! “They’re a team you can trust.”

Umeda Cipher appeared on the 469th episode of the YouTube channel “THE FIRST TAKE.”

They will perform a special medley of “Switch,” the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime “The Fable,” which is included in their new album “Unfold Collective,” and “BE THE MONSTERR,” a rearrangement of the opening theme for TBS’s “King of Conte 2023” (premiere will be shown from 10 p.m. on August 23rd).

Umeda Cipher is a hip-hop crew that originated from the participants of a cipher (a session where people form a circle and improvise raps) that was held on the footbridge of Umeda Station in Osaka. It is also famous for being the home of R-Shitei.

The cipher was recreated in a single take, starting with an a cappella performance of “THE FIRST TAKE.”

I was glad that the friends I was with didn’t make me feel nervous about filming in one take.
I really think that this is a team you can trust.
However, I felt that being able to share this sense of tension together would help us improve our own level.
It was great. It was a good experience.
