Shinya Owada will guest star in the 8th episode of “Black Pean Season 2” as the father of Yukihiko Amagi, played by Kazunari Ninomiya.

■Following season 1, Fukuzawa Akira has also been confirmed to appear as Tomizawa Masayuki, an employee of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare!

Owada Shinya and Fukuzawa Akira will make guest appearances in the 8th episode of the TBS Sunday Drama “Black Pean Season 2,” starring Ninomiya Kazunari, which will air on September 1st.

Owada plays Amagi Tsukasa, the father of Amagi Yukihiko, played by Ninomiya, and an authority in cardiac surgery at the French National University Hospital. He seems to have some kind of connection with Professor Saeki and Tokai Ichiro, the father of Tokai Seijiro (played by Ninomiya Kazunari / in two roles), and will be an important key figure in the final chapter.

Fukuzawa continues to play Masayuki Tomizawa, an employee of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, as he did in season 1. He receives a report that Amagi is demanding exorbitant medical fees from patients, and comes to advise him that there is a question of whether to issue a license to the new hospital “Surijie Heart Center” headed by such a person. ■ Episode 7 (broadcast on August 25th) Synopsis
While Amagi (Ninomiya Kazunari) was away, Saeki (Uchino Masaaki) performed emergency surgery on Uesugi Motors’ president, Uesugi Toshikazu (Sakai Masaaki), but stopped the operation without using the Saeki method. Chairman Uesugi survived after switching to drug treatment, but the head nurse, Fujiwara (Kanno Misuzu), was worried about Saeki’s unusual behavior.

Later, Toshihiro (Shirota Yu), the son of Chairman Uesugi and president of Uesugi Motors, comes to Tojo University. Toshihiro asks Amagi to make Chairman Uesugi’s surgery fail in exchange for a large fee. The father and son are in conflict over management, and Toshihiro wants the chairman to retire. In fact, Sugai (Danta Yasunori) of Ishin University has been privy to Toshihiro, and is plotting something using the medical department of Uesugi Motors.

Meanwhile, Saeki has dinner with the deputy director Ejiri (Maki Ohguro) and the clinical trial coordinator Misaki (Minami Tanaka).
