tripleS holds its first showcase live with 24 members, the largest number of K-POP female groups!Full-scale entry into Japan

■“We have decided to do activities in Japan, so please show a lot of interest!” (Kotone, tripleS Japanese member)

The final four members were revealed in April, and tripleS, which now has 24 members, the largest number for a K-POP female group, will be releasing their album “ASSEMBLE24” on May 8th at Korea’s YES 24. SHOW CASE live was held at HALL.

tripleS is comprised of 24 members, from S1’s Yoon So-young to S24’s Jiyeon, who are from many countries including Korea and Japan, making them the largest group of K-pop female members.The youngest member is 13 years old. There are four Japanese members: Kaede, who was also an exclusive model for Nico☆Petit, Kotone, who is from Girls Planet 999, Mayu, and Rin.

In 2023, she won the Female Newcomer Award (Best New Female Artist) at the “2023 MAMA AWARDS” and emerged as a promising star in K-POP. They are also active as a popular girl group, winning the Rookie Award at the Hanteo Music Awards 2023.

At the SHOW CASE live, they performed 5 songs including the title song “Girls Never Die” from “ASSEMBLE24”, “Atmosphere”, “Call Me Baby”, “Rising” and “NON SCALE”. Furthermore, they spent about 2 hours on stage with the fans, including the members’ talks and game planning.

Toward the end, they announced their full-scale expansion into Japan. Japanese member Kotone commented, “We have decided to perform in Japan, so please show a lot of interest!”, livening up the venue.

The official schedule will be announced at a later date, but management in Japan will be jointly handled by SM Entertainment’s Japanese subsidiary Stream Media Corporation and Ligareaz. Furthermore, it has been decided that the label will debut on Sony Music Labels’ SME Records. An official Japanese website and Japanese version of X (formerly Twitter) have also been launched.
