Yuta Tamamori has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the Korean skincare brand ma:nyo.

At the “ma:nyo Brand Ambassador Appointment Press Conference” held on August 26th, Representative Liu said, “Tamamori Yuta has been loved by many people for a long time with his clear white skin, good looks, and charming personality that is honest yet confident. I am very much looking forward to seeing him walk together with ma:nyo and showing even more diverse sides of himself in the future.” After this, ma:nyo’s new commercial starring Tamamori, “What is transparency?” (30 seconds, 15 seconds), was shown for the first time in front of the assembled press.

Next on stage was Tamamori, clad in the same all-white outfit as in the new commercial. “I’ve always had dry skin, so I’ve always been interested in skincare, and I’ve always had a particular interest in Korean cosmetics,” he said, before flashing a refreshing smile and saying, “So when ma:nyo approached me about being their brand ambassador, I was really grateful.”

Upon being appointed as brand ambassador, Tamamori started using ma:nyo’s popular product, Galak Niacin 2.0 Essence, a skin tone care serum that has sold over 4.1 million bottles in total. He reported on his own experience using the product, saying, “All of ma:nyo’s products are gentle to use and I think they suit my skin very well, but of them, Galak Niacin 2.0 Essence is particularly smooth and light, so it’s really easy to use and perfect for me.” He then went on to recommend the appeal of ma:nyo, saying, “I would recommend that anyone who wants to tone up their skin or make it more translucent try it once.”

As he watched the behind-the-scenes footage of the new commercial “What is transparency?” which is now airing nationwide and available on the special website, Tamamori said with a wry smile, “We shot in sparkling water in a mysterious space. It was fun because we don’t often get to shoot in a space like this. The water was a little cold,” but he also shared what it was like during the shoot, saying, “The image of me walking through the water was really beautiful.” He continued, “I approached the shoot hoping to express the transparency that ma:nyo brings.”

In the second half of the event, the moderator asked him 10 skin care-related questions in rapid succession, to which he answered to his best despite being flustered, fulfilling his role as a brand ambassador to the fullest, and finally concluded the event by saying, “I also aim for clear skin with ma:nyo, so let’s all aim for crystal clear skin together with me.”
