Imase’s new song “Dried Flower” has been chosen as the theme song for the movie “Stolen Identity – Final Chapter – Final Hacking Game,” which will be released on November 1st.

“Dried Flower” was written specifically for this film, and was produced by ESME MORI, who also produced imase’s signature song “NIGHT DANCER.” The song features aggressive synths, crazy lyrics, and a tricky development. It is a song that shows imase’s new horizons and will add color to the film.

The film “Stolen Identity V: The Final Chapter – Final Hacking Game” is the third and final installment in the “Smartphone Movie” series, which depicts a series of serial murders targeting women with long black hair that occur after a person drops their smartphone.

The lead role in the final chapter will be played by Narita Ryo, who continues to play Urano, the traumatic serial killer from the first film, leaving a lasting impression on all viewers. Following Kitagawa Keiko in the first film and Shiraishi Mai in the second, the role of the mysterious black-haired beauty Sumin, the heroine of this film, will be played by Kwon Eunbi, the former leader of the hugely popular Japanese-Korean idol group IZ*ONE, who is now a solo artist and a K-Pop artist who is making a big splash in Korea. Chiba Yudai, who played Kagaya Manabu, the detective who cornered Urano in the previous film, and Iura Arata, who plays Hyodo Akira, a public security detective who works with Kagaya to protect Japan from cyber attacks, have been confirmed to be reprising their roles, and the epic cross-border battle between Urano and Kagaya, who once teamed up in an illegal partnership, will unfold once again.

In addition, the cast of the “Smartphone Movie” series, including Kei Tanaka, Mai Shiraishi, and Taizo Harada, has been confirmed to appear. New cast members from this film include Ryohei Otani, Shiro Sano, Sei Matobu, Kenta Inozuka, and Akari Takaishi (the “taka” is officially spelled with a はしごだか).

■imase Comment
I’m Imase, and I’m in charge of the theme song for the movie “Stolen Identity – Final Chapter – Final Hacking Game.”
Even before I was approached about this project, I had been a fan of the film “I Dropped My Phone,” so I am very honored to be doing the theme song for the final chapter.
This time, the protagonist is Urano, a black hacker and serial killer played by Narita Ryo, and while the suspenseful battle with Kagaya is a highlight, I felt that this was also a work that gave us a glimpse into the more personal side of Urano.
The theme song was also created with the intention of being serious, yet somehow conveying a sense of sadness and transience.
I hope you enjoy the theme song along with the film!

■ Comment from film producer Tetsuya Tono
This film depicts the twisted feelings, love and hate of Urano, a genius black hat hacker who can get into people’s hearts with his captivating smile, as well as a major incident that involves both Japan and Korea.
The producers immediately unanimously agreed that Imase was the only person capable of expressing such a complex worldview.
Her urbane melodies and lyrics, delicate singing voice, and charming smile never fail to captivate the hearts of listeners.
He readily accepted the offer, and when I heard the theme song that was sent to me, I was overwhelmed by how wonderful it was.
It seems to express Urano’s aggressive, yet somehow lonely and helpless feelings and struggle…
I’m happy that the smartphone series can be completed with this song.
Actually, I extended the end credits a little so that you can enjoy the song to its fullest.
Come experience “Dried Flower” at full volume in the theater.
