INI appears in Schick FIRST TOKYO’s new TV commercial as beauty ambassador

It has been announced that a new TV commercial for Schick Japan’s new beauty grooming brand, Schick FIRST TOKYO, for which INI serves as beauty ambassador, will begin airing nationwide from September 11th.

This TV commercial is about the beauty grooming brand Schick FIRST TOKYO, which was born from the desire to help people discover a new version of themselves through a safe shaving experience, with the concept of “Gentleness for the first time, from fine hair to beard,” and is produced through beauty ambassador INI with the message “Your beauty begins to move.”

The 11 members of INI, whose individual personalities and lifestyles have earned them immense popularity among many members of Gen Z, performed a dynamic dance to the newly written new song “FIRST.” The creation expresses the elation of experiencing beautiful skin and feeling the change in yourself through your first shaving session.

The commercial begins with a shot of INI member Nishi Koto sitting on an upside-down chair in the dark on a stage with a predominantly white theme. Dressed in costumes in ocean blue, mint green, denim indigo, ash grey and sand beige – the five colours that represent the individuality of Schick FIRST TOKYO products – the members take turns performing sharp freestyle dance moves, and as if in tandem, “Schick First Shaving Holder” and “Schick First Facial Shaving Gel” appear on the tips of their hands. After an incandescent free dance session with all the members, the commercial ends with the INI members’ determined expressions, their skin now beautiful. It’s a stylish finish that exudes a sense of dynamism and speed throughout.

The commercials are available in three versions: “Schick FIRST TOKYO Opening (30 seconds),” “Schick FIRST TOKYO Thrilling Impulse (15 seconds),” and “Schick FIRST TOKYO Transformable (15 seconds).” Be sure to check out the 11 members dancing freely and joyfully, each in their own way and with their own unique personalities.

In addition to a free dance session with all the members, the commercial also featured free dance recordings by each member. As the product appears in sync with the hand movements of the free dance, attention was paid to every detail, from the arm movements to the angle of the hands and the interval between opening the palms, to ensure that the trajectory of the product appears to be captured naturally. Each member checked the monitor as they filmed. While paying close attention to the fine details down to the fingertips, INI’s distinctive sharp and dynamic dance is also noteworthy.
