YOASOBI announces title and key visual for their first ever dome concert

The title of YOASOBI’s first ever dome concert to be held in October and November has been decided as “YOASOBI 5th ANNIVERSARY DOME LIVE 2024 “Super Reality”. The key visual has also been released.

On October 1st, YOASOBI will celebrate the big milestone of their 5th anniversary since their formation. Looking back on the 5 years since their first single release in 2019, they decided on the theme of “hyper reality” to embody the current YOASOBI that they have discovered during that time. The key visual released at the same time is a design that combines live action and CG to express the theme of “hyper reality.”

Advance ticket sales for the Dome Live will begin at 12:00 on August 31st at Lawson.

■Ayase’s comment
If I had to sum up the past five years as YOASOBI in one word, it would be “unusual.” For the two of us, YOASOBI was at the center of all the changes in our lives, our environment, and our spirituality.
It is true that I have suffered a lot of worry and hardship in these days when everything has suddenly changed.
However, I now truly believe that the irreplaceable experiences I have had over the past five years have been stimulating and incredibly interesting.
We feel like we have finally determined the type of music we want to create, an encounter with the unknown that is different from conventional wisdom and the norm.
We want to continue to be a presence that brings exciting changes to your life, to this reality. First up is the Dome concert “Super Reality”. We will take on the challenge with the feeling of starting anew from here. I want you to experience it with your whole body at the venue.
■ikura Comment
The title “Surreal” immediately made sense to me as a word that described the past five years.
The existence of “ikura” suddenly appeared in my life, and day by day, it overlapped with my real self, and I felt like the boundaries were disappearing. I felt like I was living in a “surreal” world.
We will pack this dome performance with our whole heart and soul, expressing the current state of YOASOBI as well as the new vistas that we see beyond.
Let’s sing together at the Dome while thinking about the journey we’ve walked together.

■The three EPs in the “THE BOOK” series will be released on analog in limited editions!
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of YOASOBI’s formation on October 1, 2024, it has been decided that the three works in the EP “THE BOOK” series will be released as limited edition analog records. Each of the three works in the series features a jacket design with illustrations of Ayase and ikura drawn by three illustrators active in Japan and abroad.

The first in the series, “THE BOOK,” was created by “NAJI Yanagida,” a member of the creative team “SSS by applibot,” which was formed to show new possibilities for digital illustrations, and who continues to create his own original illustrations and works, mainly for light novel cover art and game illustrations. “THE BOOK 2” was created by “EIM (Junhwi Kang),” a new generation Korean illustrator who is active in a variety of fields, including character design, illustration, and background design. And “THE BOOK 3” was drawn by “QINGYI,” an up-and-coming illustrator from China, who is known for his fun and unique style. Keep an eye out for the designs that are drawn to fit each of the unique worldviews.

The jacket colour motif for the digital and CD releases of “THE BOOK” series is as follows: “THE BOOK” is on pink vinyl, “THE BOOK 2” is on green vinyl, and “THE BOOK 3” is on yellow vinyl.

Information about the bonuses has also been released, and pre-orders for each product began at 6pm on August 29th.
