BABYMONSTER’s first fan meeting in Japan “BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE” to be held on May 11th and 12th is sold out. It proved to be very popular in Japan.
Furthermore, BABYMONSTER plans to maintain this momentum by appearing on multiple terrestrial TV programs and performing at Japan’s largest music festival.
Although it has only been 40 days since their debut in Korea, the girls sold out their Japanese concert on both days, and are now embarking on a global activity, starting with Tokyo and touring Asia with fan meetings in Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, and Bangkok.
BABYMONSTER’s 1st mini-album “BABYMONS7ER” was well received in music markets all over the world and even in Japan, reaching number 1 on the iTunes Japan K-POP chart and the K-POP Album chart. Furthermore, it has ranked high on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart and Billboard JAPAN’s Hot Album and Download Album Charts. Furthermore, the music video for the title song “SHEESH” has exceeded 200 million views on YouTube, and it continues to make rapid progress even more than a month after its release.
Additionally, in preparation for the fan meeting, a POP-UP STORE will be held for the first time in Japan, as well as an imported version of the album with Japan-only bonuses. Check the official website for details.
