Kenshi Yonezu releases “LOST CORNER Radio” in which he talks about the changes in his mindset leading up to his new album “LOST CORNER”

Kenshi Yonezu has released “LOST CORNER Radio” on his official YouTube channel.

This episode of “LOST CORNER Radio” is a comprehensive talk about the 2023 release of “Globe,” the theme song for the Studio Ghibli film “How Do You Live?” directed by Miyazaki Hayao (the official spelling of “崎” is “tatsusaki”), and how the theme song for the film “The Last Mile” was created from there, as well as the changes in his mindset that led to the album “LOST CORNER.”

In addition to touching on each song on the album, including “Margherita + Aina the End,” “Sayonara Mata Itsuka!”, the theme song for NHK’s “Tora ni Wings,” “POST HUMAN,” which he wrote about auto-generated AI as the theme song for the “junk” robot he created for the CD package, “LENS FLARE” and “Ohayou,” which he performed live in 2023, and the first song on the album, “RED OUT,” he talks about a wide range of topics related to “LOST CORNER,” including the self-portrait he drew on the jacket, his thoughts on the production of the CD package, and his 2024 tour, “Kenshi Yonezu 2025 TOUR / JUNK.”

“LOST CORNER”, released on August 21st, won three Oricon rankings: “Weekly Album Ranking”, “Weekly Digital Album Ranking”, and “Weekly Combined Album Ranking”.

It also topped the Billboard JAPAN charts in both “HOT Albums” and “Top Albums Sales,” dominating other ranking charts.
