Conton Candy announced at their self-produced event “Conton Candy pre. “CHAOS!!!” Vol.1″ held at Spotify O-Crest in Tokyo on August 30th that they will release their first full album “melt pop” (pronounced: melt pop) on October 9th.
This album, which can be described as both an “introductory album” and a “complete album,” contains 15 songs in total, including nine of their signature songs that are like their calling cards, such as “Long Skirt Flutters” and “Fuzzy Navel,” as well as six newly recorded songs.As the title “melt pop” suggests, this album will “melt” the “pop” impression that people may have of Conton Candy.
In addition, to coincide with the release of the album, the artist visuals have been completely revamped. They were photographed inside a vintage car that exudes culture, and are a departure from their previous image, with a stylish and bluesy look.
The title of the solo tour that has already been announced, which will be held in November with nine performances in nine cities across the country, has been revealed to be “Conton Candy ONEMAN TOUR 2024 “melt pop”,” and it has been revealed that it will be a tour promoting this album.
Conton Candy will be a group to keep an eye on in the future, with the release of their long-awaited full album and their largest solo tour to date.
