Kazumi Takayama x Nanase Nishino, Nogizaka46’s 1st generation good friend duo “Takasemaru” will co-star in the movie “Trapezium”! The role is an unexpected “grandpa role”

It has been announced that Kazumi Takayama and Nanase Nishino will be appearing as voice actors in the animated movie “Trapezium.”

This work is based on Kazumi Takayama’s novelist debut work “Trapezium” (published by KADOKAWA/serialized in “Da Vinci”) published in November 2018 when she was a member of Nogizaka46, and is about Yu Higashi, a high school student who aims to become an idol. , a story about a group of beautiful girls from north, south, east, and west who move toward their dreams. For the anime adaptation, the original author, Kazumi Takayama, participated in the scenario production.

In this work, the two, who are a close friend of Nogizaka46’s 1st generation members and affectionately nicknamed “Takasemaru” by fans, co-starred in a dubbing production. Takayama and Nishino play the role of an old man who is a friend of Shuichi Itami, played by Mitsuyoshi Uchimura, who is a foreign language interpreter in a volunteer activity in which beautiful girls from all over the world participate. Takayama’s first attempt at voice acting was in the anime adaptation of her own original novel.

The two, who have been best friends since their group days, last worked together for the first time at Nogizaka46’s 10th anniversary live two years ago. The reason for offering Nishino the role of the grandfather this time was that Takayama said, “During our group days, we were competing to see who could say phrases more like an old lady, and I remembered that Naa-chan (Nishino) was really good at it.” .

Nishino commented, “I’m glad I was able to record with Kazumi Takayama. I would have felt sad if I was alone. I had a lot of fun acting.” Takayama also reflected, “I played her based on the image of the volunteer grandfather I saw when I was actually writing the novel.” The interaction between the two in the play is worth paying attention to.

The movie “Trapezium” will be released nationwide on May 10th.

When I was making the movie, I was talking about various things with the staff, and one of the questions that came to mind was, “By the way, have you decided on the casting of the old man?” Speaking of old people, I remembered that Na-chan (Nishino) was very good at imitating the voice of an old woman. Even back then, he said, “I should become a voice actor!”
I’m also doing some acting work, so maybe I can do some work for you? I thought of this and suggested it, and the staff liked it as well. Furthermore, they said, “There’s another person to play the role of an old man…” so I decided to play the role, but this is the only scene that makes me nervous. I tried to record by leaning forward to get as close to the grandfather as possible.
