Set tour video of Netflix series “Love Battle Royale” starring Mikami Ai and Miyase Ryuya released

■The video is packed with behind-the-scenes shots of the friendly cast on set.

The Netflix series “Love Battle Royale,” starring Mikami Ai and Miyase Ryuya, began streaming on August 29th.

The series has a reputation for causing masses of sleep-deprived viewers to binge watch all eight episodes in one go, and a set tour video has now been released that shows off the luxurious set of Tomorrow Academy, allowing viewers to become more immersed in the world of the drama, as well as behind-the-scenes shots of the friendly cast on set.

The video features the song “Koisuru Wakusei ‘Anata'” sung by Ai Tomioka, and introduces the exterior of Asuran Academy, the student council room, gymnasium, and other thoroughly recreated sets and filming scenes. This is a must-see movie for those who have already seen the work and those who are planning to watch it in the future.

Ai Tomioka is a rising female college student singer-songwriter who has been gaining attention from Japan, Korea and the world after she posted a video of her singing her signature song “Goodbye Bye” on social media. Her song “Love Planet ‘Anata'” compares the perfect “sense of distance” between lovers to the vast universe, adding a richer touch to the worldview of this film.

Additionally, behind-the-scenes footage from the school festival, one of the most important scenes in the film, has also been released. The vlog-style footage is of such high quality that it gives the illusion that the characters are actually living student lives.

The video begins with Mikami Ai and Miyase Ryuya clapping their clappers in unison, shouting, “Welcome to Orang Academy tomorrow!”. First, we see the prestigious school building, entrance, and lush courtyard, where the story is set and where the elite students from wealthy families attend. Next, we see the student council room, where the main character, Yuichika (Mikami Ai), works as a bookkeeper. Also of note are the props, which have been carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, such as the name tag, stationery, and loafers on the desk.

Additionally, Maki (Miyase Ryuya) and Miyama (Toyoda Yudai), who play best friends and are members of the basketball club, are shown in a eye-pleasing scene playing basketball on the gymnasium court, as well as a glimpse of the harmonious atmosphere on set as the cast members take pictures of each other with instant cameras that were given to each cast member before filming began.

Next, behind-the-scenes shots of the colorfully decorated school festival are shown, with Mikami Ai, Mizusawa Rintaro and others enjoying the event, creating a heartwarming video that makes it seem as if you are watching their real school life.

At the end, Mikami, Miyase, and Toyoda are surrounded by staff and face the camera, showing the three of them in a relaxed and friendly mood, concluding the video. In addition, the main footage inserted in between shows Maki and Yuichika gradually becoming attracted to each other, as well as their meaningful expressions, making us curious about the outcome of each of their love affairs.
