It has been announced that Karen of ClariS will graduate from ClariS at the end of the live tour “ClariS AUTUMN TOUR 2024” to be held in the fall.
Member Karen released a handwritten message upon graduating from ClariS.
“I, Karen of ClariS, will be graduating from ClariS after ClariS AUTUMN TOUR 2024 ~Via Fortuna~. I am very sorry to have surprised all of you who I love with this sudden announcement. The reason for my graduation is to fulfill another of my dreams, which is to get married and build a warm family like the one I grew up in. Although I only have a short time left as an active member, I would like to express my gratitude to you all as much as I can. I would be grateful if all of my fans would continue to support me warmly until the end (excerpt).”
Furthermore, in response to Karen’s graduation announcement, member Clara commented, “I would like to support the warm dream that Karen has found with all my might. I, Clara, will continue to deliver the songs I love to all of you. I hope you will continue to support ClariS in the future (excerpt).”
Along with the big announcement of Karen’s graduation, ClariS also announced that they will be releasing two new works in October, the 14th anniversary of their debut, the mini-album “AUTUMN TRACKS – Autumn Songs” (on sale October 16th) and the best album “ClariS ~SINGLE BEST 2nd~” (on sale October 23rd). Details such as the contents of the album will be announced at a later date.
The live tour “ClariS AUTUMN TOUR 2024” will begin on October 26th, the weekend of the release of their best album “ClariS ~SINGLE BEST 2nd~”, and will visit three cities (a total of five performances).
It has also been announced that the tour title will be “Via Fortuna,” which means “Way of Fortune” in Latin.
Member Karen will be graduating at the end of this tour, but be sure to head to the venue to experience ClariS’s ever-evolving live performance as they celebrate their memorable 14th anniversary.
And while we all warmly support Karen who has announced her graduation, let’s also keep an eye on ClariS as they work even more energetically in the lead-up to their 15th anniversary.

I have always had a dream to “make many people smile.” That dream led me to meet the best partner of my life, Clara, and the 10 years we’ve spent singing together as ClariS are like a precious memory that I can’t replace.
I have had so many encounters, and the circle of gratitude has grown. ClariS has continued to make Clara and Karen’s dreams come true, and they have helped her grow as a person. That will never change. Although I only have a little time left as a member, I would like to express my gratitude to the best of my ability.
