BE:FIRST's second album "2:BE" lead track "Blissful" reaches No. 1 on J-WAVE's "SAISON CARD TOKIO HOT 100"

“Blissful,” the lead track from BE:FIRST’s first original album in about two years, “2:BE,” reached number one on J-WAVE’s (81.3FM) “SAISON CARD TOKIO HOT 100.”

The lead track from BE:FIRST’s long-awaited second album is a song that celebrates the life they’ve lived so far.

BE:FIRST has made an impact on the world with their hard tracks up until now, but this time they have completely changed their look. Over the simple and comfortable track by Zen (INIMI) that has a strong taste of mid-2010s HIPHOP, they sing about how hard, rough and tough their journey has been, and how it is therefore valuable to be able to spend this moment together with their friends who have shared the good times and the bad, and celebrate their success together.

In today’s society, where the development of social media and the acceleration of communities that incite division have led to the normalization of despising, belittling and pushing one another down, this is a song by BE:FIRST that shines with the preciousness of self-love, not self-love, but self’s love, where people improve and recognize each other without comparing themselves to others.

To commemorate the release of the album “2:BE”, a special collaboration with J-WAVE, “J-WAVE × BE:FIRST COLLABORATION WEEK”, will be held.

BE:FIRST has been active as a J-WAVE navigator, having hosted a regular program on J-WAVE since 2022 and appearing at J-WAVE’s urban festival “J-WAVE INSPIRE TOKYO” for the second consecutive year.

For one week from August 26th to September 1st, members of BE:FIRST appeared on J-WAVE every day to talk enthusiastically about their album “2:BE” as well as each member’s “HOT TOPICS.”

“Blissful” took the top spot in the latest chart announced on “SAISON CARD TOKIO HOT 100,” broadcast on the final day, September 1st.
