Amazon and Toei have launched a joint project to turn “Oshi no Ko” into a live-action film. The drama series will be exclusively distributed worldwide to Prime members on Prime Video from 9pm on November 28th, and the sequel will be released nationwide on December 20th, distributed by Toei.
In addition to the lead actress, Sakurai Kaito, the film also brings together some of the hottest actors of the moment, including Saito Asuka, Saito Nagisa, Hara Nanoka, Kayashima Mizuki, Ano, and Narita Ryo.
A total of 28 additional cast members have been added, and the upgraded “teaser visual ver.2” has been released for the first time.
The previously released teaser visual featured the main characters Aqua, Ai, and Ruby gathered together, with each character dominating social media trends in a pop and meaningful style.
The just-released teaser visual version 2 features a total of 28 impressive additional cast members who were revealed one after another every hour from noon on September 1st at the “Oshi no Ko Release Party.”
The visuals portray the film’s two-sided themes, such as “light and shadow,” “lies and truth,” “love and hate,” and “past and present,” as well as its unique worldview, more than ever before.
