Erika Ikuta’s song “Hide and Seek” has been selected as the song of NHK’s “Minna no Uta” (October/November 2024)

■If you don’t get found, you win, but if you don’t get found, you feel lonely. It’s a game of hide-and-seek. Erika Ikuta also participated in writing the lyrics.

It has been decided that “Hide and Seek,” sung by Ikuta Erika, will be broadcast on NHK’s “Minna no Uta” from October to November.

As the name suggests, the theme of “Hide and Seek” is “playing hide and seek.” It’s a song that depicts the moment when people of all ages and genders fall in love with something and have their heart stolen.

Ikuta herself also participated in writing the lyrics. It is also noteworthy that the lyrics are based on episodes from everyday life.

If they don’t find you, you “win,” but if they don’t find you, you feel sad. Enjoy the song while imagining the various emotions that fluctuate during the game of hide-and-seek.

The gentle and warm animation was done by Naoko Otaka. Look forward to the first episode airing on October 1st.
