BTS RM x Megan The Stallion, collaboration song “Neva Play (feat. RM)” to be released digitally

BTS RM and American rapper Megan The Stallion’s collaboration song “Neva Play (feat. RM)” will be released digitally on September 6th at 1:00 pm.

Megan The Stallion announced the release of her new song on social media at midnight on September 2nd, writing, “This song has some of the best lyrics I’ve ever heard from RM. It’s the first time I’ve heard RM rap in this style.”

The cover image of the new song, released on the same day, features RM and Megan The Stallion in a cartoon style, raising expectations for the pair’s collaboration.

BTS and Megan Thee Stallion first collaborated on the digital single “Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)” released in August 2021. Megan Thee Stallion added a powerful rap to the light and refreshing “Butter,” giving it a fresh impression. Then, in November of the same year, Megan Thee Stallion made a surprise appearance at “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-LA” held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, and sang “Butter” together.

RM has collaborated with a variety of artists both in Korea and abroad, including British rapper Little Simz, American singer-songwriter Moses Sumney, Youjeen, Tablo, and Park Ji-yoon on his solo album.

He has also collaborated with many unique singers, including American rapper Lil Nas X, singer-songwriter Colde, Hwang So-yoon, and YOUNHA, to hone his skills as a musician.
