TV Tokyo Drama tunes! In the drama “RoOT” (every Tuesday from 24:30) currently being broadcast on TV, a portion of the music video for “Choujo Koi Jhenen” sung by the idol group “Mystery Kiss” that appears in the drama has been specially released.
The drama “RoOT” is a mystery drama depicting the struggles of a young detective duo played by Yumi Kawai and Ryota Bando.
Mystery Kiss, the idol group that holds the key to the incident, consists of Rui Nikaido, the center, and Shiho Ichimura and Yuki Mitsuya, who are idols but wear masks. Along with the release of the music video, a comment arrived from Nogizaka46’s Reino Nakamura, who plays center Rui Nikaido. In addition, a rare behind-the-scenes photo of Shiho Ichimura (Yuki Ito) and Yuki Mitsuya (Momoko Kobayashi) with their masks removed was also released.
Nakamura has experienced filming many music videos as part of Nogizaka46’s group activities. Regarding filming the music video as an idol in the drama, he commented, “I never thought I’d see the day when I would film a music video at another location while I’m still an active idol, so it was a really refreshing feeling!” . Furthermore, he said, “The set was built perfectly for the song, and it was an authentic and very impressive filming site!”
Regarding the episode with the members of Mystery Kiss, “I met the members for the first time during the choreography (of the dance), and the atmosphere was very soft, so I was able to relax in a good way and have fun trying out the choreography. I was able to do it!” They seemed to enjoy filming in an atmosphere that was the complete opposite of the awkward mystery kiss in the movie.
In fact, it is gradually becoming clear that each of Mystery Kiss’s quirks is hiding a secret. From episode 7 (broadcast on May 14th), when we finally begin to get closer to the truth, it will be interesting to see how the girls will interact with the story and liven it up.
