A new trailer for the original feature-length animated film “Touch,” which will be released on October 4th, has been released.

The video begins with the story’s protagonists Aki (Nagase Ren), Ryo (Bando Ryuta), and Yuta (Maeda Kentaro) interacting with each other and listening to their inner voices. The three and a mysterious creature called “Fureru” move to Tokyo from an island. Aki works part-time at a bar, Ryo works at a real estate company, and Yuta is a student at a fashion school. They live together, each living their own daily lives. The power of “Fureru” to connect people’s hearts was a secret shared between the three. By chance, Juri (Shiraishi Haruka) and Nana (Iwami Manaka) join the three, deepening their relationship, and the “five-person communal life” begins.

The first half of the video features the theme song, YOASOBI’s new song “Monotone.” The song, written specifically for the film, is catchy and envelops the story.

In the second half of the video, the tune changes and the relationship between the three is shaken by another hidden power of “Touch.” Aki thinks, “How can we connect our feelings without ‘Touch’…” and begins to think about the friendship between the three people who have been together since childhood.
