NEXZ and Koresawa will appear on NHK Educational TV’s “I Got Hooked on the Swamp” on September 14th.
This program is a variety show on NHK Educational TV that covers the world (= the swamp) that teenagers are completely immersed in, and explores the true faces and philosophies of teenagers (= those who are hooked) who are trying to pursue what they love to the fullest.
This time, we will feature two artists who are popular among teenagers. First up is NEXZ, a global boy group born from Season 2 of the Japanese-Korean joint audition project “Nizi Project” (commonly known as Niji Pro), which produced NiziU. They made their global debut in May, and the music video for their song “Ride the Vibe” has already exceeded 32 million views. They made their Japanese debut in August and are rapidly gaining popularity.

The other group is singer-songwriter Koresawa, whose song “♡Jinsei♡” is going viral on social media. The number of teenagers who are hooked on her addictive voice, pop melody, and lyrics that capture everyday scenes from a unique perspective is increasing rapidly. Members of Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu, whose song “Saikyou ni Kawaii no!” (The Most Cute!) was a huge hit, will also appear in the studio and talk about Koresawa’s charms.

The biggest charm of NEXZ, which teenagers are hooked on, is “effort and growth”. The members talk about secret stories while looking back on the “best audition scenes” based on the program’s website survey. Then, we get up close and personal with the members during their live rehearsals.
Meanwhile, when talking to teenagers who are into Koresawa, they say that her biggest appeal is her lyrics. The show will announce a ranking of her most popular songs. Focusing on the lyrics of the number one song, “SSW,” Koresawa herself will talk about the feelings she put into the song. In addition, we will introduce a high school girl from the light music club who formed a cover band in the hopes of spreading Koresawa’s songs to the world.
In the studio, NEXZ will perform their Japanese debut song “Keep on Moving,” and Koresawa will perform a special Numahama-only medley of “♡Life♡” and “The Cutest!” together with Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu.
