Tanaka Miku releases a selection of pre-release photos, including swimsuit and lingerie shots, from her second photobook, "Kimama ni."

Tanaka Miku, the “Reiwa Gravure Venus,” who graduated from HKT48 after about 10 years of activity in December 2023 and began her career as an actress, will release her second photo book, “Kimama ni.” on September 12, 2024, her 23rd birthday. Advance cuts from this work have been released.

The film, which has the theme of “challenging the unknown world,” was shot in Byron Bay and the Gold Coast of Australia, located in the southern hemisphere. Her characteristically bright smile and clear facial expression, as well as her beautiful body, which has been polished to perfection, stand out against the backdrop of the vast land and sea that she lands on for the first time after a 10-hour flight one way.

You can also see him getting excited when he interacts with animals for the first time, taking on the challenge of SUP for the first time, and communicating with local children while holding an acoustic guitar. The video is packed with scenes that could only be seen in this location.

Until just a short time ago, Miku Tanaka was “everyone’s little sister,” but before we knew it, she had taken the steps to adulthood and is now 23 years old. From a still somewhat innocent appearance to a more mature and surprising appearance than ever before, this book is packed with shots that represent “now” and “challenges,” and is likely to become a guide for her future.

This is my first photobook in three years since graduating from HKT48, and my second one. I felt that my fans had been waiting for this for a long time, so I’m happy to have this great opportunity to show the new me.
In Australia, where the photoshoot took place, I was able to interact with koalas and kangaroos at the zoo, which was very relaxing, and I also remember riding the thrilling rides that were all the rage on social media. Since it was the first day of shooting, I thought, “I’m going to be a big hit with this!” and “I’m going to become the new Tanaka Miku!”, so I gave it my all and tried my best to ride them (laughs). I think this photobook will make you feel like you’ve traveled to Australia with Tanaka Miku, and you’ll feel like you’re close to her!
I’m happy that I’ve grown since my first photobook and can now take a variety of shots, and I wanted to go all out, so I went for the light blue one-piece shot. I can’t show it to you yet, but I think it’s the most stimulating shot I’ve ever done and will surprise my fans. I put a lot of effort into it, so I’m excited to see how they’ll react.
In this photobook, I approached the shoot with the intention of “letting people know the current Tanaka Miku” and “trying my best,” so I would be very happy if you could feel that. I hope that as many people as possible will pick up this book and be able to convey the new Tanaka Miku to everyone!
