JO1 has started digital pre-release of the title song of their 9th single “WHERE DO WE GO”. The music video has also been released.
The music video was shot in Hawaii, a first for JO1. The members spread out a map and drive to their destination, then scatter bottles of sand into the ocean from a boat and sail to their next destination. They end up spending the day on an island they happen to land on.
The scene of them dancing together in the majestic Hawaiian wilderness is impressive, and shows them running down their own paths, confident that the road they are walking down will become a red carpet, even though they don’t know their destination.
They take a break in the great outdoors, and then head off again while thinking about the end of their youth. They have no plans, just focus on the present and enjoy the moment. Where will they go next? The final scene where they board the ship further stimulates the imagination and romance, and the film-like colors and Cinemascope-sized field of view make this a road movie-like work.
Also noteworthy is the depiction of them moving confidently towards the new future that awaits them, as well as their more mysterious and mature expressions than ever before.
