Hinatazaka46’s Kosaka Nao to appear in the movie “Zenbu of Tokyo” as a senior idol! The theme song will be sung by Conton Candy

■The official trailer and main visual have also been released

Additional cast and theme song information, the official trailer, and the main visual for the film “Zenbu of Tokyo” (nationwide release on October 25th), which stars all of Hinatazaka46’s 4th generation members, have been released.

For the 4th Generation members, who debuted as idols just two years ago, this will be their first film appearance. Eleven members, who are trying acting for the first time, have been selected for the main cast, playing life-sized roles of students on a school trip to Tokyo. Yoko Shogenji, who is highly regarded as the next generation ace, was the sole center for the single “Kimi wa Honeydew” released in May, and will be the co-center with Fujishima Kaho for the upcoming new single “Zettai Daikokukan,” and will lead the film in the lead role.

As an additional cast member, information has been released that Hinatazaka46’s absolute ace Kosaka Nao will play Arikawa Rin, an idol admired by Kirii Chisa, played by Watanabe Rina.

The role of a senior idol who gives Kirii the opportunity to dream of becoming an idol seems to overlap with the image that the 4th generation members looked up to in real life before joining Hinatazaka46. Furthermore, Yashima Tomohito plays Ikezono and the others’ homeroom teacher, Hinuken (aka Kenji Hinuma), and Matobu Sei plays Igarashi Kanae, a taxi driver who becomes heavily involved in the girls’ school trip. They support the film as the adults who watch over the 11 students on the school trip.

The theme song is “Express Ticket and Rhythm”, written by the band Conton Candy, which is currently attracting a lot of attention, with their song “Fuzzy Navel” released in 2023 recording approximately 5 billion views mainly on SNS. The refreshing rock tune full of speed will color the day of the 11 youths like a roller coaster. Tsumugi (Vo/Gu), who is a self-proclaimed “Ohisama (a collective term for Hinatazaka46 fans)”, recalled how she felt when she received the offer, saying, “It was like a dream and I was just happy,” and exploded with joy, saying, “I’m happy to be able to work with all of you, who are so cool and cute, in this way this time.”

Additionally, comments from the cast regarding the specially written theme song have arrived. Watanabe commented that the refreshing melody and addictive singing voice made him feel “somehow nostalgic, and it reminded me of my youth, which makes my heart ache when I remember it.” Shogenji said about the lyrics, “Listening to the song, I thought of the members of Hinatazaka46 and my family who supports me, and it really touched my heart.” Fujishima, who has previously covered “Fuzzy Navel” on a program, commented, “I’m really happy to have Conton Candy collaborate with me on the theme song for the movie we star in,” making this a truly mutually-loved collaboration.

The trailer, which was also released, begins with group leader Ikezono Yurika (Masamoto Tsukasa Yoko) making a perfect schedule ahead of the school trip to Tokyo, enthusiastically proclaiming, “We’re going everywhere!” and “Let’s experience everything that’s Tokyo-like!” However, on the long-awaited day of free time, for some reason the entire group becomes separated. Ikezono ends up alone under the Skytree. At first glance, it seems like a parallel world, but in fact each group member has their own plans…

Hanekawa Megumi (Fujishima Kaho) chases after Moriya-kun, the boy she admires, but the appearance of her love rival Tsujisaka Mio (Takeuchi Kirari) almost brings the two of them to a standstill!? The foursome Popozu, consisting of Setsuda Shiori (Ishizuka Yoko), Kadomura Wakana (Shimizu Rio), Yanatori Akane (Miyaji Sumire), and Kadobayashi Moe (Yamashita Haruka), head to the big city to get their hands on limited edition items for their favorite characters… Masuya Ayano (Konishi Kanami), who acts like a “cool girl from Tokyo,” and Hanazato Miyuki (Hirao Honoka), who admires Masuya, accidentally meet up with Mitsutake Yumeka (Hiraoka Kaitsuki), a friend from their junior high school days in Tokyo… Will Masuya be able to protect his cool character!? Meanwhile, Kirii Chisa (Watanabe Rina) heads to the idol audition venue. After hearing a single word from her idol, Arikawa Rin (Kosaka Nao), she secretly dreams of becoming an idol. She makes it to the final round of the audition, but a problem occurs just before the venue. Ikezono rushes to the scene and asks for help from everyone scattered across Tokyo to make Kirii’s wish come true. Keep an eye on how their day in their youth turns out.

And now, the main visual has been released, showing the smiles of 11 unique girls with the scramble crossing in the background. The “Tokyo” that 11 “quirky high school girls” found while running around the big city of Tokyo. Look forward to this rollercoaster movie that relives a day in their youth.

■Conton Candy Tsumugi (Vo/Gu) Comments
I have always been inspired by Hinatazaka46’s music and activities, so when I heard about this opportunity it felt like a dream come true and I was simply happy.
Also, from the time I received the script to the completion of the song, I felt like the production process was filled with more excitement and thrills than usual.
I was happy to have the opportunity to work together in this way with all these incredibly “cool and cute” people who perform in front of large audiences on various stages.
I would be happy if the message “Don’t be influenced by any color, just be yourself” could be conveyed to not only our members, but to more people.

■ Comments from Hinatazaka46’s Yoko Shogenji/Yurika Ikezono
The theme song for the movie “Zenbu of Tokyo”, “Express Ticket and Rhythm”, has been released!
When we heard that it was written by Conton Candy, who all of our members love, we all got super excited!
I would also like you to pay attention to the lyrics, as I listen to them and think of the members of Hinatazaka46 and my family who support me, and it really touches my heart.
I’m sure I’ll never forget those dreamlike days when we were all photographed together as 4th generation girls!
It’s a great song with a fast-paced feel and a refreshing vibe! Please give it a listen!

■ Comments from Hinatazaka46’s Watanabe Rina/Kiri Chisa
I am truly happy that Conton Candy has created such a wonderful song for me.
When I first heard this song, the refreshing, fast-paced tone and Tsumugi’s addictive singing voice reminded me of my youth, which I found nostalgic and painful to remember. The way the emotions of teenagers fluctuate and the recklessness of the characters were conveyed, and it reminded me very much of the characters I played.
He wrote the lyrics after reading the script, and the song is packed with everything he wanted to convey through this film, so I hope everyone will listen and pay attention to the lyrics.

■ Comments from Hinatazaka46’s Kaho Fujishima/Megumi Hanekawa
I was so happy when I heard that Conton Candy had written a new theme song for the movie!
I myself have listened to this song over and over again. I love the youthful melody and the lyrics that are reminiscent of movies.
I had the opportunity to sing Conton Candy’s “Fuzzy Navel” on a TV program before, so I am really happy to be working with them again this time on the theme song for the movie we are starring in.
I would love for everyone to listen to it!
