■The new album “Nebula Romance Part 1” condenses the grand drama that the three members of Perfume unfold in space.
Perfume will be celebrating their 25th anniversary since their formation and their 20th anniversary since their major debut on September 21st. To mark this memorable anniversary, Perfume will be releasing their first grand concept album, “Nebula Romance Part 1,” which is split into two parts, digitally on September 20th and on CD on October 30th.
Now, the cover photo and track list have been released.
The album “Nebula Romance Part 1” is a concept album that condenses the epic drama that the three characters unfold in space, like a soundtrack to a fictional movie, and the cover photo is designed to be reminiscent of a science fiction movie poster.
The songs included in the album also feature space-inspired words such as “Cosmic Treat,” “Starlight dreams,” and “Mobius.”
Other songs included on the album include “IMA IMA IMA,” which was released recently, “The Light,” which was first performed at the Perfume “COD3 OF P3RFUM3 ZOZ5” Asia Tour 2024 held in various cities across Asia, as well as “Love Cloud” and “Sumikko Disco,” which were released digitally in 2023, for a total of 10 songs.
The CD will be available in three different versions: a fan club limited edition “PTA Members Limited Edition” which includes bonus footage from the 2023 fan club tour, a first-press limited edition, and a regular edition. The visual of the “Nebula Romance Emblem Badge” which will be included in both the “PTA Members Limited Edition” and the “First-press limited edition” has also been released, and it will have the same design as the one worn by Perfume on their chests in the jacket photo.
