The music video is a special video that combines anime cuts and ending footage from “Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season” to accompany the song.
“UNDEAD” is based on the short stories “Nadeko Past” and “Shinobu Future” written specifically for this occasion by Nisio Isin, who is also responsible for the “Monogatari” series.
The song features ikura’s vocals bouncing around on top of a sound that fully expresses Ayase’s respect for his own work, and was released digitally on July 1st.
