back number surprises with music video for “New Lovers” featuring footage of Iyori Shimizu from his childhood

■Appearing on “All Night Nippon” for the first time in 7 years!

The music video for back number’s latest song, “To New Lovers,” was surprisingly released on back number’s official YouTube channel.

“To New Lovers,” released on September 11th as the 22nd CD single, is the theme song for the Fuji TV Monday 9pm drama “The Beginning of the Sea.”

The music video was released as a surprise just after 9pm, immediately after the end of the fan club-only live stream that was held on the same day.

The DVD is made up of footage of Iyori Shimizu’s childhood, recorded on private home videotapes, looking back on half of his life from the early days of back number to the present, and the rare footage, which will be released for the first time, is a must-see. Don’t miss the members performing together with their “former selves” beyond the boundaries of time.

Back Number will appear on “All Night Nippon MUSIC WEEK” to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the launch of Nippon Broadcasting System, which will be broadcast on September 11th at 1:00 am. This will be their first appearance on “All Night Nippon” in seven years, where they were regulars until 2017.
