■Sho Sakurai approaches the unknown mysteries of Mt. Fuji and the sea of trees!

The variety show “SHOW Channel”, where Sho Sakurai serves as MC, is returning for the first time in two months.

“SHOW Channel Adult Social Studies Field Trip Special” will be broadcast from 3:00 pm on May 12th. Sakurai, Shinichi Hatori, Eiji Kotoge, and Takashi Yoshimura will be participating in the popular project “Social Studies Tour for Adults” during the period of regular broadcasting. Learn about the symbol of Japan, Mt. Fuji, and the truth about the Aokigahara forest at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

The first place Sakurai and his friends visited was Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is said that if you come here, you will be able to unravel a “certain mystery” surrounding Mt. Fuji.

The group immediately headed for their destination, the main shrine, and while walking around the grounds, they learned about the history of Mt. Fuji and what exactly makes it so amazing. The more you learn about it, the more interesting it becomes, not just because of its height, but also the surprising reasons why Mt. Fuji, the symbol of Japan, was recognized around the world, the common knowledge of Mt. Fuji in the Edo period that is unthinkable now, and even the great man who climbed Mt. Fuji. Sakurai is also deeply drawn into the secret stories of Mt. Fuji.

Finally, we headed to the main shrine of Sengen Taisha Shrine, where the mysteries of Mt. Fuji can be solved. What is the surprising fact that Sakurai and his friends witnessed there?

After enjoying the local specialty udon, the group headed to their next destination, the Aokigahara Forest at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

It is a virgin forest that spreads northwest of Mt. Fuji, on the Yamanashi side, and has an area of approximately 30 square kilometers. Aokigahara Jukai has been designated as a national natural monument, and entry to any area other than the promenade is prohibited.

Because there are so many mysteries, it has a negative image of being “scary” and “terrifying,” but Sakurai and his friends who timidly stepped in were astonished at the gap between their images and their impressions: “The air is so clean!” “It’s like Ghibli!”

Why was the Sea of Trees created in the first place? If we trace its history, it has been a series of incredible miracles! What is the secret story behind the birth of the sea of trees that will completely change the negative image?

Are there any other insects in the sea of trees? Disoriented? We examine the truth of urban legends that have been whispered about.

Furthermore, why is ○○ in the sea of trees, which has no history of human habitation? We will also infiltrate mystery zones that are still unsolved and caves unique to the sea of trees.
