ELSEE, a five-member group including "Nizi Project" finalist AKARI, will release their first song and hold a free live concert

The five-member dance and vocal group, ELSEE, has announced the release of their first song and a free live concert.

ELSEE is a dance and vocal group consisting of five members, AKARI, KARIN, NANAMI, PONO, and HINA. AKARI is also widely known as a finalist in the audition “Nizi Project” held from 2019 to 2020, and fans have been waiting for her to start working with the group.

ELSEE started a TikTok account in February as a dance performance unit. They have uploaded many dance and vocal cover videos up until now, but they have now opened a new official website, YouTube Channel, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and LINE account, and announced that they will begin activities as a dance and vocal group.

The website clearly states the message, “I’m you, You’re me. for ELLE & SHE,” and the name ELSEE reflects the concept of “capturing the feelings in the hearts of women like ELLE & SHE, who are not the most unhappy in the world, but aren’t particularly happy either. You could find them anywhere on the street.”

The song “POW POW”, which will be released on September 27th, was produced and written by Giga & TeddyLoid, who are artists themselves and have also written songs for many other artists. You can get a glimpse of “POW POW” in the artist teaser video “Hello, I’m ELSEE” that has been released.

The jacket photo was created by illustrator YULIA, and along with the released artist photo, it is an impressive visual of the band wearing the iconic blue tie.

In addition, around the time of the release, on September 23rd and 28th, ELSEE will hold their first free live concert at Shibuya City Chatan Park. This will be their first special stage performance in front of a general audience outside of SNS.
