Shocking scenes from the drama “Yakusoku ~16 Years of Truth~” starring Ann Nakamura and Yu Yokoyama have been a big hit on SNS!First half digest & original MV released

■The first half digest of episodes 1 to 5, the original MV that collaborates with the theme song and the main drama video has been released!

Yomiuri Television/Nippon Television’s Platinum Thursday drama “Yakusoku ~16 Years of Truth~” (broadcast every Thursday from 11:59 pm) is becoming a hot topic of conversation.

This drama, in which Anne Nakamura and Yutaka Yokoyama (SUPER EIGHT) co-star for the first time, tells the story of the main character, Aoi Kiryu (played by Nakamura), who was robbed of everything due to a serial murder case that happened in the past, and returns to her hometown of Mochino as a detective. A psychological suspense drama that begins with a twist. This is an unpredictable and inevitable drama where a new truth is revealed in each episode, but in the fifth episode, which aired on May 9th, the foreshadowing so far was recovered and the mysteries were revealed one by one.

Even before it aired, all the cast and staff had been strongly recommending, “You definitely want to see it!” The impact was beyond imagination. The truth revealed and new mysteries born.

Viewers who watched episode 5

“Even though the dots line up neatly every time, new dots keep adding up one after another, leaving behind mysteries, so it’s really hard to miss, and you never know how it’s going to land in the end, so it’s an interesting drama.”
“It’s getting too interesting and I’m in trouble…”
“This is a drama that will make you sleepy”
“Isn’t this the same story as the final episode?”

Even though it was late at night, the excitement did not subside.

Also, in the last minute of episode 5, we got a glimpse of the development of the second part, which is about to begin, but the shocking appearance of Kei Kosaka (Hiroshi Yokoyama) caused chaos.

And from viewers who watched the preview next week,

“Aoi handcuffs Momo!?”
“I thought I’d feel better after watching episode 5, but it’s ridiculous. I wonder if I missed episode 6 somewhere…”
“Leaving it in this state for a week is tough, it’s worrying me too much…”

Many people were looking forward to episode 6.

■“#Truth of the 16th Promise”, “Mr. Kosaka” and “#Kohei Higuchi” are trending one after another!
The truth behind the kidnapping incident and Kento Ichijo’s (Takashi Okabe) feelings are now revealed.

“Did uncle want to save Aoi?”
“I can’t stop crying for Ichijo.”
“It’s painful to see everyone struggling to find the truth…”

Many viewers were moved by the sight of Ichijo, who sacrificed himself for Aoi and tried to right the wrong he did 16 years ago.

Also, the buddy relationship between Aoi and Kosaka is one of the highlights of this drama, but in episode 5, there are scenes where Kosaka recalls some memories from 16 years ago and calls out to a confused Aoi, and Ichijo leaves Aoi in charge. Kosaka was impressive when he was defeated.

Although he is cool and blunt, he worries about Aoi and calls out to her in Kosaka’s own words.

“Kousaka-san tsundere”
“It looks like she’s cornering Aoi, but she’s actually kind and encouraging Aoi to move forward.”

By the fifth episode, we could see a gradual change in the relationship between the two buddies, and “Kousaka-san” was trending on X (formerly Twitter).

What was shocking in episode 5 was Detective Yasumasa Natsume’s betrayal.

“Natsume—!! Don’t go there!”
“You must be kidding!?”
“I believed in Natsume-kun!!”
“Natsume! Is it important to get promoted?”

Natsume fever broke out late at night, and #Kohei Higuchi, who plays Detective Natsume, also became a trend.

■Episode 6 synopsis
When Aoi (Anne Nakamura) discovers the body of a woman with marbles stuffed in her mouth at the same murder site as 16 years ago, she becomes convinced that the serial killings have resumed. Then, a serial murder investigation headquarters is set up at Nozomi Police Station.

Yabuki (Tasuku Nagaoka), who came from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, is assigned to the first investigation section in place of Ichijo (Takashi Okabe).

The new victim is Ruri Wada, an 18-year-old who has been living in Mochino Town for the past six months. The investigation proceeds with the assumption that the culprit who murdered Ruri is likely the same person who committed the serial murders 16 years ago.

Kosaka (Hiroshi Yokoyama) suggests that there may be other victims of this criminal, but Yabuki tells him, “It’s for your own sake not to cause unnecessary thoughts.” Aoi feels uncomfortable about the relationship between Kosaka and Yabuki.

Ruri’s call history reveals that the last person she called was Momo (Risa Oda), and Aoi and Kosaka interrogate Momo. Momo replies, “Ruri is one of the customers and I don’t know her very well,” but Aoi feels uncomfortable with Momo’s behavior and asks her questions.

Meanwhile, an anonymous report about a serial murder case is received at Nozomi Police Station. Aoi and the others head to the place where the report was received, but…!
