Taisuke Fujigaya (Kis-My-Ft2) appears on the cover of the September 23rd issue of AERA (published by Asahi Shimbun Publications), which goes on sale September 17th. In the interview, he talks in his own words about his thoughts on the movie he starred in, Pride and Goodness, his outlook on work, his struggles, turning points, and more.

Taisuke Fujigaya has two faces: as a solo artist and as a member of Kis-My-Ft2. He says that he has struggled with which to prioritize, but he asserts that the basis for him is “whether or not he can perform group activities satisfactorily.”

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced them to stop performing live. That’s why he says, “I want to do what I can with the utmost passion at each moment.”

The magazine also features a conversation with Nao, who plays a couple who meet while on a matchmaking expedition and end up passing each other by in the film “Pride and Goodness,” due for release on September 27. Fujigaya has a strong emotional attachment to this work, and says that coming across the phrase “Pride and Goodness” “expanded my repertoire of sensations.”
