About your impressions of appearing in the historical drama “To You Who Shines”
I am very honored to be able to appear in a taiga drama for the first time.
When I heard about the role I was surprised and thought “it can’t be me?”, but I wanted to play the role of Saiin no Chujo with care.
I hope that in that one scene, viewers were able to feel the forbidden love between her and Tarenori-sama, who finally met the person she wanted to meet.

Episodes and memories from the shoot
I was meeting everyone for the first time, so I was nervous and ended up being quite quiet.
However, Takasugi-san, who I co-starred with, spoke to me kindly, which helped me to ease my tension a little and I was able to enjoy the shoot.
The passion that all the staff had for this production was very clear, and it made me feel even more strongly that I too needed to put my all into this one scene.
