As the second installment of “BE:FIRST THE MOVIE,” the film “BE:the ONE -MEANT TO BE-” will be released nationwide on November 15th. A teaser trailer has been released.
BE:FIRST successfully held their first Tokyo Dome concert about two years and four months after their debut, and celebrated their third pre-debut anniversary on August 16th. Starting in December, they will embark on their first dome tour, “BE:FIRST DOME TOUR 2024-2025 “2:BE”, with nine performances in four cities, to promote their recently released second album, “2:BE*”.
“BE:the ONE -MEANT TO BE-“, which has now been announced for release in cinemas nationwide, condenses everything from the historic day on the first day of “BE:FIRST LIVE in DOME 2024 “Mainstream―Masterplan””, the overwhelming live performance that shook the Tokyo Dome, the MC that brought the members to tears and was etched in the hearts of all BESTYs (BE:FIRST’s fan name), and more.
Additionally, the film contains a thorough record of their “evolution” including backstage and rehearsals, precious conversations between members, and unreleased special interviews. It is a must-see for BESTY fans, and is an inspiring live documentary film that shows the story of BE:FIRST’s future.
The title “-MEANT TO BE-” was chosen by producer SKY-HI. SKY-HI commented, “They are exactly what the Japanese entertainment industry needs today, and society needs them, and at the same time, their success is what they needed. That’s why we chose the title because we want people to see how the detailed yet bold “Masterplan” they put together comes to dramatic fruition.”
The teaser art, which was released with the announcement of the release date, shows the final scene of BE:FIRST performing “To The First,” a song that had been sealed away for a long time, at the Tokyo Dome. The emotional visual is created by combining a photo of a moment from the Dome concert drawn by SKY-HI, BE:FIRST, and all the staff with the catchphrase “We’ve come to make the dream we promised that day come true.”
■The best performance in the best acoustic environment! Screenings at ScreenX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX have been confirmed.
This film will be shown in 2D, as with the previous film, in ScreenX, which is made up of three screens, a front screen and two side screens, providing an overwhelming sense of realism; 4DX, where the seats move in sync with the performance and music, and motion and environmental effects are added to create an immersive experience; and ULTRA 4DX (formerly 4DX Screen), which has all the functions of ScreenX and 4DX. ScreenX is increasing in countries around the world every year, and currently there are 408 screens worldwide and 17 in Japan. You can experience the realistic realism of being in the middle of a live venue from start to finish, and you can experience their best performance in the best environment, with everyone in the venue as one.
■Movie ticket cards with original stickers (7 types chosen randomly) will be on sale from September 20th!
Advance tickets for Mubichike are available for 2,100 yen (tax included). In addition, Mubichike card purchasers will be given a special bonus of an original sticker, one of seven types available at random (first come, first served). The original sticker features an original photo taken for the movie of all the members wearing the leather jackets they wore at the Tokyo Dome concert. The sticker is sized to fit in a smartphone case, allowing you to enjoy it until the movie is released.

We are very happy that such a precious time for us can be captured on film like this.
Continuing from the previous film, the screen continues the story leading up to the stage, and each song that follows is played with an intensity that is almost like a live performance, making this a film full of a different kind of musical charm.
I believe that by watching the song and taking another look at the story behind it, you will be able to understand the meaning of the lyrics and how the song was created more deeply.
I believe that everyone has their own way of enjoying things, so I hope you enjoy yourself at the cinema without overthinking it.

This is the second time it has been adapted into a movie, and I’m surprised and very happy because I never thought it would actually happen.
We feel that we have grown since our last film, so we hope everyone will see it.
The video of this performance is, in a good way, full of moving scenes that can only be shown on the first day, and I think the highlights are the expressions on the members’ faces as a variety of emotions well up inside them.
Of course, I would be happy if you would pay attention to the music and performance as well.

I was really grateful that our previous film, “BE:the ONE,” allowed so many people to see what goes on behind the scenes at BE:FIRST and get a sense of the humanity of each and every one of our members.
This time, we were able to closely follow the dome concert, which was both my personal dream and BE:FIRST’s dream, and I am truly grateful that we were able to deliver this film to everyone who has walked with us over the past three years.
I think you’ll be able to experience the same feeling as a real live concert, with great sound quality and such.
I hope that this work will make people love us even more, both as artists and as the seven of us as people.

A lot of people saw our previous film, “BE:the ONE,” and it was a great movie that introduced them to BE:FIRST, so I hope this film will also be a great movie that will introduce them to people who don’t know about BE:FIRST yet.

Our previous album, “BE: the ONE,” included a variety of content, such as behind-the-scenes footage of our live shows that you don’t usually get to see and our enthusiasm for our live shows, and it was refreshing for the people around me to see us being so serious!
With the release of “BE: the ONE-MEANT TO BE-“, we’re excited for people to once again see us creating our own live show and get a glimpse behind the scenes of the show!
At cheer screenings, I want everyone to enjoy themselves to the fullest, and because that’s not something you can really do at a live performance, I think it’d be great if people could take their time and enjoy the show here!
