Reol's new EP "Hishiroku" to be released! Includes self-covers of the opening theme song for "Blue Exorcist" and songs provided for "ProSeka"

Reol’s new EP “Hishiroku” will be released on November 13th. This EP is her first in about 5 years and 8 months since “Bunmei EP”. It includes “RE RESCUE”, the opening theme for the TV anime “Blue Exorcist: Yukinoha Arc” which will be broadcast from October, “Kanjou Onchu” provided for McDonald’s USA “WcDonald’s”, and a self-cover of “ULTRA C” for which she provided lyrics for the smartphone game “Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku”. The full details will be revealed at a later date.

Reol commented on the EP, “The four songs in ‘Himirokku’ are sometimes down-to-earth and sometimes light-hearted, and each one was created by pursuing their own hidden ‘youth’. I hope you can find the ‘youth’ that suits you as you receive this work.” “ULTRA C” will be available for pre-release from midnight on September 18th, and the music video will also be released.

This work will be released in three versions: a regular version, a video version, and a Legit version that can only be purchased through Reol’s official fan club, Legit. The Blu-ray that comes with the video version will include the “RE RESCUE” music video as well as various bonus videos. The Legit version will come in a special package, the Legit Special Box, and will include a Legit Limited Mesh Cap and an original badge designed by Reol herself.

This is Reol. I will be releasing a collection of music called “Hishiroku” this coming winter. “Hishiroku” refers to a pale, grayish blue-green color, like celadon ware. When I came across this word, I thought it was a good way to describe the EP.
