■The first video content will be posted on the official SNS of the work at 6:00 p.m. on September 18th. In the future, music videos and songs sung by B Komachi will also be released.

Amazon and Toei have launched a live-action film adaptation project for Oshi no Ko. The drama series will be available worldwide exclusively to Prime members on Prime Video from 9pm on November 28th, and the sequel will be released nationwide on December 20th, distributed by Toei.

It has now been announced that Saito Nagisa, Hara Nanoka, and Ano will begin promotional activities for the “Oshi no Ko” drama and movie as “B Komachi,” an idol group that appears in the series.

B Komachi is an idol group formed to officially carry on the spirit of the “original B Komachi,” to which Ai, the legendary idol who appears in “Oshi no Ko,” belonged. In this work, the group is made up of Ruby, played by Saito Nagisa, Arima Kana, played by Hara Nanoka, and MEMcho, played by Ano.

Saito Nagisa, who will remain in the idol group “=LOVE” until 2023 and has enjoyed a brilliant career as an idol, including serving as the group’s center; Hara Nanoka, who debuted in the entertainment industry as a child actor in 2003 and has been in high demand as an actress in a variety of productions, and who took on the idol role for the first time; and Ano, who, after her idol career, is now active in a wide range of fields as a talent, actor, voice actor, and artist. These three people, who have taken completely different paths up until now, have collaborated to take on singing and dancing as “B Komachi.”

The songs that appear in the film were each specially written for this film by sound creator Tanaka Keito, who has worked on songs for Takahashi Rie and BiSH, and up-and-coming Vocaloid producers SEE and Fururi, who are part of the Puzzle Project, a project that discovers young Vocaloid producers and supports their activities by combining the musicality and songs of the artists with Sony Music’s solutions.

The choreography for the dance was done by yurinasia, who has worked on the music videos for SnowMan’s “Brother Beat” and Vaundy’s “Hanauran,” and in recent years has worked on the opening theme for the NHK morning drama “Tora ni Tsubasa.” The idol costumes that decorate the trio were created by Narita Ayano, who has worked on costumes for various idols such as Ringo Musume and NANIMONO and is highly popular among idol fans, making for a powerful and luxurious lineup.

In the future, the song sung by B-Komachi will be distributed and the music video will be released. In addition, behind-the-scenes shots and making-of videos will be posted on the official SNS accounts of “Oshi no Ko” (X, Instagram, and TikTok), and video content will be released on the official YouTube channel. The first video will be posted at 6:00 p.m. on September 18th.

These three completely different people who were never supposed to meet have started their promotional activities as B Komachi for a limited time. Keep an eye on B Komachi in the future.
