Masaharu Fukuyama’s first directorial work “FUKUYAMA MASAHARU LIVE FILM Kotodama no Happiness Summer” will be released on Blu-ray and DVD

■The Blu-ray and DVD include footage of five songs that were not included in the theatrical release or Amazon Prime Video release!

“FUKUYAMA MASAHARU LIVE FILM Kotodama no Sakiwau Natsu @ NIPPON BUDOKAN 2023,” a live film directed by Fukuyama Masaharu himself for the first time and screened for four weeks only in January, has been announced to be released on Blu-ray and DVD.

This ultimate “live performance beyond a live performance,” which pursues Fukuyama’s own ideas of “ideal live sound,” “ideal live production, and visual world,” will be released as a complete version on December 18th, adding five songs that were not included in the theatrical release or Amazon Prime Video distribution.

This work is composed of a story that transcends time and space, as only a movie can, in which a young boy named Fukuyama, played by Yota Hiiragi, who dreams of becoming a musician, goes to see Fukuyama perform in the present day, and live footage taken from 360 degrees in all directions with more than 40 cameras. It is a meticulous film work that makes full use of the latest technology.

Fukuyama is currently on a nationwide tour that will last for about half a year. More information about the album will be announced at 10:00 on September 26th, the first day of his first concert at the Nippon Budokan in about a year.
