Kenshi Yonezu’s “Goodbye, See You Again!” x NHK morning drama “Wings of the Tiger”, full version of opening title sequence released

The full-length version of the opening title sequence of “Goodbye, See You Again!” sung by Kenshi Yonezu, the theme song for the currently airing NHK morning drama “Wings of a Tiger,” has been released.

This video is a rotoscope animation by Shishiyamazaki, who also produced the opening video for “Tiger on Wings”. The current opening part will be left as is, but the full version of the song will be newly produced. Together with the newly recorded cuts, it is a video work woven together with famous scenes from “Tiger on Wings”.

This footage was first shown on NHK General TV on September 18th as part of the special program “Tiger on Wings x Kenshi Yonezu Special.”

The special program included a conversation between Kenshi Yonezu and Ito Sari, who plays the lead role of Sada Torako, as well as a “Meiritsu Girls’ Club Roundtable” in which Ito Sari, Doi Shiori (Yamada Yone), Sakurai Yu (Sakuragawa Ryoko), Hiraiwa Kami (Takehara Umeko), and Ha Yeon Soo (Choi Hyangsook) looked back on the drama’s memorable scenes and filming. The narration was provided by the familiar Ono Machiko. This program will be rebroadcast on NHK BS from 10:00 pm on September 23rd, and on NHK General TV from 12:35 am on the same day.

The drama “Wings of the Tiger” is getting even more exciting as we approach the final episode. Let’s enjoy this new video work along with the drama.
