Kis-My-Ft2's Senga Kento takes on the block preliminaries for the Autumn Haiku Title Match "Kinshusen" on "Pre-Battle!!"

Kento Senga (Kis-My-Ft2) will appear on the September 19th broadcast of MBS/TBS’ “Pre-Bato!!”

This time, there will be two programs: a new project called “Glass Art” and the autumn haiku title match “Kinshusen” C Block preliminaries.

The “Glass Art” talent ranking is a new project that is being held for the first time. Glass seeds are heated in a kiln at 1,300 degrees and softened, then blown or cut to create stylish household goods that you can use at home. The participants are Hiroki Okada, who is appearing on the show for the first time, Teruhisa Murayama, who is 14 years old and has an overflowing artistic sense, Yuchami, known as the “Reiwa White Gal,” Satoshi Kamiju, a former Nippon Television announcer who became a freelancer in the spring of 2024, and Tomoko Murakami (Mori Sanchu), who has not performed well in art-related evaluations. Since it is a new project, of course, everyone is trying for the first time. Among them, a talented person will emerge who will suddenly be selected as a one-shot scholarship student this time.

The competition is decided in just 20 seconds after removing the 1,300 degree glass mold from the kiln to shape it as desired. Who will win those 20 seconds, receive a perfect score that even MC Masatoshi Hamada is surprised by, and be promoted to a one-shot scholarship student?

Following on from the previous episode, “Haiku” will be broadcasting the qualifying rounds for the autumn title match “Kinshusen”. The five players with the title of Eternal Meijin or higher are exempt from the qualifying rounds, and Koji Matoba, a scholarship student of grade 3, from Block A and Ei Morisako, a scholarship student of grade 1, from Block B have already advanced to the finals. This time, the remaining five players from Block C will compete for the top spot.

The favorite is Nakata Yoshiko, a 10th dan Meijin who has won a title match before, but Senga Kento (Kis-My-Ft2), a 9th dan Meijin, is also a talented player who has won a title match three times. In addition, Inuyama Kamiko, a 1st grade scholarship student who has won a title match once, Takeda Tetsuya, a 2nd grade scholarship student who is confident that “I’ve started to feel a sense of accomplishment recently,” and Pakkun, a 2nd grade scholarship student who is aiming to rise above the rest, will all present their best haiku on the theme of “solo travel.”

Who will come in first and declare with all their might, “I’m going to the finals!”? In addition, two outstanding haiku poets will be selected by Itsuki Natsui from the 12 contestants below, and will win the remaining two spots for the finals.
