■ The theme that voice actor Kikunosuke Toya chose for his playlist is “Manga that makes you feel youthful”
“MANGA PLAYLIST” is a manga promotion project that launched in the summer of 2024 on the manga app “Comic ROLLY.”
In this project, in which famous manga fans introduce their favorite works, the first selector was Ryota Yanagisawa (SUPER BEAVER), and the second was Saku Mizuno (voice actor). Their passionate “comments about their favorite works” have caused a stir among manga fans.
And now, the third selector will be Toya Kikunosuke, who has also made a name for himself as a voice actor.
Toya, who is currently active in a wide range of roles, including as Denji in the hit anime “Chainsaw Man,” as well as Fubuki in “The Prince Who Runs Away,” Hadis in “The Dragon Emperor’s Conquest,” which begins in October, and Todo Heisuke in “Blue Miblo,” has chosen the theme for his playlist as “manga that makes you feel youthful.”
Toya, who says that what the characters in youth manga have in common is that they “live life to the fullest!”, has selected a playlist that includes works that will allow you to look back on your youth as an adult or simulate a youth you have never experienced.
