Katori Shingo appears in “Weekly Bunshun WOMAN”! Goro Inagaki talks about his partnership with Tsuyoshi Kusanagi

Katori Shingo will appear in the Fall 2024 issue of Weekly Bunshun WOMAN (on sale September 21st).

On September 22nd, Katori will celebrate the seventh anniversary of his new group, Atarashii Chizu, with Inagaki Goro and Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (the official spelling of “nagi” is the old-style character for bow with a sword). In September, the three of them made a big splash by appearing together on a terrestrial music show for the first time since SMAP disbanded.

In the long interview, Katori, who believes that “something is born and we can move forward because we are with people who have different sensibilities and different ideas,” talks about the partnership he has built with Inagaki and Kusanagi, with whom he has been walking together for many years. Katori also reveals his recent change in mindset, saying that he has “become able to say ‘I believe in you’ to those he works with.”
