■From Utada Hikaru’s first live performance to her latest live performance in 2024, she will be screened with “live sound” just like a real concert!
It has been announced that “HIKARU UTADA LIVE CHRONICLES in cinema”, a screening of nine of Hikaru Utada’s live performances, will be held.
Hikaru Utada’s first tour in six years, “HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024,” ended on September 1. On December 11, the video work will be released, along with all nine titles of “HIKARU UTADA LIVE CHRONICLES,” which contains footage of past live performances.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of their debut, a screening event has been scheduled where viewers can enjoy all of their concerts, from their first live show “Luv Live” held at Zepp TOKYO on April 2, 1999, to their latest live show “SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024,” all at once in the cinema.
During the event, large-scale, high-quality sound equipment for live concerts will be brought in and set up at the venue, the cinema, and the films will be screened with “live sound,” making it possible to experience the film as if it were a real live concert.
Furthermore, shouting, clapping, hand-clapping and using penlights are all allowed, allowing you to fully enjoy the live atmosphere with a powerful and lively feel.
In addition, the first three live shows, “Luv Live,” “BOHEMIAN SUMMER 2000,” and “UNPLUGGED,” will be streamed in the latest footage upconverted to full HD.
Reservations for the “1-day pass,” which allows you to watch all the live performances on each screening date, will begin at 6:00 PM on September 20th. The “1-day pass” will go on sale at each screening theater from midnight on November 1st (midnight on November 2nd).
Additionally, local bear stickers, which were a hot topic at the 2024 tour CD sales booths, will be given away as a gift to visitors at each screening. The designs of the gifts will vary at each venue, and if you enter with a “1-day pass,” you will receive a total of six gifts for each screening, but they will all have the same design.
