■ How will school doctor Makino (Matsushita Kohei) identify the children’s “unspoken SOS”?

“After School Chart,” a new Saturday drama 9 on Nippon Television starring Kohei Matsushita, will begin airing on October 12. Stills of the children featured in the first episode have been released.

This drama is based on the manga “After School Chart” (published in Kodansha’s “BE・LOVE”) by Nise Mayu. Set in an elementary school, the eccentric school doctor Makino uses his keen observational skills to see through the children’s “unspoken SOS” and give them a push in the “health room human drama.” The main character Makino is played by Matsushita Kohei, and Shinoya, the homeroom teacher of Class 6-2, is played by Morikawa Aoi.

In the first episode, Yuki (Masuda Risa), a child who tends to fall asleep in class, and Takuma (Hiragi Go), a mischievous child, appear. The story depicts how the school doctor, Makino, deals with their unspoken SOS.
